Baked Chocolaty Buttermilk Pancake |
Ingredients:
- Buttermilk - 1 cup
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 1 (Optional)
- Whole wheat - 1 cup
- All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
- Sugar - 2 tbs
- Coco Powder - 2-3 tbs
- Baking Powder - 1 1/2 tbs
- Baking Soda - 1/2 tbs
- Vanilla Extract - 1 tbs
- Salt - 1/4th tbs
Toppings:
- Fruits of your choice (Apple, Berries, Banana Mango)
- Whipped Cream (Optional)
- Maple Syrup or Honey
Instruction to make Pancake :
- Preheat oven at 400 F.
- Take a bowl and whisk buttermilk, egg and butter.
- Add the flours, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla extract, coco powder, sugar & salt and whisk until it is combined. (Don't whisk too much, its okay if the batter has small lumps).
- Spread the batter evenly in the pan.
- Optional - Top the batter with berries or chocolate chips
- Bake it for 15-20 mins until its fluffy and golden brown on the edges.
- Serve it warm with the desired toppings (fruits, syrup)
