Aloo Chokha
Ingredients:
- Potato - 160 gms
- Chopped onion - 1/3 cup
- Chopped green chilies - 1/2 Tbs
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2-3 Tbs
- Chopped garlic - 1/2 Tbs
- Mustard oil - 1 Tbs
- Lemon juice - 1/2 Tbs
- Salt - As per taste
Method to make Aloo Chokha:
- Boil the potatoes till they are cooked.
- When the potatoes become warm, peel and mash them.
- Mix well all the ingredients.
- Check the taste and add more salt, lemon juice or green chilies if required.
Serve this with litti, as a spread over on breads or as a side dish to any north Indian meal.
